THE DAMNED SEARCHING FOR LOCAL SUPPORT ACTS!

Ever fluid, The Damned swiveled into the new century with their trademark dark vocals, poppy melodies and scintillating guitar sounds intact. But, as always, they’ve managed to bring the best of the new into the mix--they are no dinosaurs of punk’s heyday. Without missing a beat, they’ve remained current, even innovative--always a little ahead of their time. As relevant now as in 1976, The Damned continue to bring new sounds to the stage and studio.
 
True to their spirit of constant innovation The Damned are looking for local support acts to open the bill of their Twisted Cabaret shows. The acts lucky enough to be chosen will be in great company appearing alongside burlesque from Mimi Lemieux and Missy Malone, compered by Kitten On The Keys and of course the legendary Damned headlining.
 
This competition is open to everyone and anything magicians, jugglers, Punch and Judy (well maybe not but hey ….) and musicians as long as they can match the excitement and edgy vibe we’re looking for.
 
If you think you’re up to it then we want to hear from you NOW. To apply is easy – just send us an email with the link to a Youtube site (or similar) or mp3 of your act to damnedtalent@googlemail.com. Don’t forget to include which gig you're applying for in the subject line – see the tour list below. The Damned will view all entries and the winners will be contacted when the final selection is made – their decision is final.
